Career Development and Alumni Services
The Student Employment Counseling Room was established under the Office of Student Affairs for the purposes of cultivating talents for the society and teaching knowledge to be contributed to the people at the same time when the school was founded in 1958. After several restructuring efforts in response to the social evolution, the unit was renamed the Career Development and Alumni Services in 2012.
The main functions of the Section are to follow the school motto and meet social expectations to cultivate students' quality of humanities and professional knowledge, connecting school education to workplace education and developing a career path suitable for talents, and play the role of a point of contact between the school and alumni, so that students can become highly competitive and adaptive professionals.
Focuses on providing students with career development guidance to connect to workplace education. Responsible for implementation of student career development plans and activity plans for the entire school, and provides counseling activities for diverse career development, capacity diagnosis and assessment tools, employment seminars, career consultation, etc., so that students learn about themselves and their own capabilities and plans to define their career directions. It reinforces the results of career counseling to improve students' employment competitiveness. Students are encouraged to actively participate in internship programs both at home and abroad. Act as a point of contact between the school and alumni. Follow up on the status of alumni, provide alumni services and develop campus souvenirs, further expanding fundraising work.
